Movies.

I'm attempting (haven't been successful thus far) to show Ginger some anime films that I've enjoyed in the past, here a few of my personal favorites.

Cowboy Bebop the movie the characters are fun, the music is rocking, and the plot is moving.  My only real concern is that I wonder if someone who has no prior knowledge of the TV series would enjoy this as much.

Probably my favorite Hayao film, either this or possibly Howl's Moving Castle which is probably more a bit more accessible to a Western audience.

I love this film, it's the Matrix before the Matrix existed. Slick visual, cyber-punk themes and a great story.

A thriller unlike any others, Satoshi Kon's masterpiece about losing ourselves and the choices we make and weight of those actions.
